The Deep Liner SPY-V is a refined evolution of the legendary SPY series — designed for anglers seeking precise control, wide appeal, and effortless bite triggers across all depths.
Originally developed in the Genkai Sea to target yellowtail amberjack, the SPY-V quickly proved its versatility, excelling not only on pelagic species but also on bottom-dwelling fish through its distinctive Stop & Go Fall and Slalom action.
The SPY-V maintains the concept of “easy slow-pitch jigging for everyone”, while offering a slightly different balance and fall rhythm from the original SPY. Its tuned design keeps the jig stable during long falls and highly responsive during lift actions, providing smooth transitions between long-fall and slow-pitch styles.
