Gamakatsu Tsuranuki Offshore Jigging Hook
The Gamakatsu Tsuranuki Offshore Jigging Hook is engineered for power jigging, deep-water strikes, and long, demanding fights with offshore predators. Built around a custom retainer-bend wide-gap hook, it delivers rapid penetration and strong holding power, even when targeting fast or hard-running species.
A micro barb ensures secure hook-ups while keeping resistance low for fast penetration. The hook features a smooth continuous curve that drives deeply and stays locked as soon as pressure is applied.
Enhanced with tataki lightweight hardening, the Tsuranuki maintains excellent shock absorption and freedom of movement when rigged as an assist hook. Flat-forged processing boosts rigidity and shape retention, and the reinforced heel section prevents deformation during heavy fights.
Finished with a durable tin coating for corrosion resistance, the Tsuranuki is ideal for both nearshore and offshore jigging targeting tuna, amberjack, Burrasa, and other powerful gamefish.
