MAXEL Sealion One Speed Power Ratio Reel

The MAXEL Sealion One Speed Power Ratio Reel combines compact dimensions with the strength required for demanding offshore fishing. The rigid one-piece tempered aluminium frame, aluminium side plate and corrosion-resistant anodised finish provide excellent structural stability and durability in saltwater environments.

Its heat-treated stainless steel gears are designed to withstand the high torque generated during heavy drag applications. The dual carbon drag system delivers smooth and consistent pressure, including in wet conditions, while offering substantial stopping power for controlling large and hard-fighting fish.

Originally developed for jigging, the Sealion One Speed Power Ratio Series is also suitable for bottom fishing and other heavy-duty offshore techniques. The smaller models may additionally be used as versatile inshore reels where compact size, high drag pressure and strong gearing are required.
