The Owner Meji Katsuo Silver 16539 is a heavy-duty fishing hook engineered for powerful migratory species such as tuna and skipjack tuna (katsuo). Constructed from OWNER’s high-strength Tough Wire, it combines a relatively thin shaft with excellent strength to help prevent delicate krill bait from breaking or slipping during rigging. Its precisely curved hook point is designed for fast penetration and secure hook-ups, while the round-shaft construction helps reduce mouth tearing during hard runs. Pinpoint flat forging further reinforces the hook, and the enlarged ring provides extra clearance for thicker leaders. The ring is also brazed for additional strength under heavy load.
